Previously, I spent 40 years as a professional orchestral musician, employed by the Austin Symphony, the San Antonio Symphony, the Mexico City Philharmonic, the State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra, and the Xalapa Symphony Orchestra. I also served as principal horn in the Mid-Texas Symphony for over 20 years. Overlapping my work as a musician was a 20 year stint in radio, employed by Texas Public Radio as a classical music host and producer.
