In my years of aspiring to be a journalist, I have learned the importance of doing my due diligence in research, fact-checking, and perfecting every detail in every story I do. I've learned at Channel 13, SB Nation, the Simpsonian and SCTV how to be a story teller without bias. I've also found that journalism isn't easy, there are going to be people who disagree with what I write or how I write it, but the importance is within the integrity I write with and how I write it.
