Claim your profileI am a multi-skilled content producer and performer recognized and valued by my peers for my creativity, strong leadership, and high bar for quality. I am passionate about using the latest and greatest technology purposefully and tastefully to tell stories in unique and effective ways.I currently serve as the producer of the two-hour morning show at WCJB TV20 News, stacking rundowns, writing breaking news segments, facilitating lifestyle segments with guests, and creating graphics. My show saw a ratings hike in my first month on the job after I revitalized the show with a hard news emphasis viewers expect from our brand and rearranging the show to spotlight our most important content. I began my job as a swing producer when I was still a student, taking over almost any newscast when other producers were off and assisting in video editing, web writing, production, and more.My work in news started at WUFT News, where I worked as an anchor, producer, director, and reporter across all of the organization’s products. On WUFT-FM, I served as a long-term anchor and producer of the local newscasts during NPR’s Morning Edition, serving the network’s prime audience of up to 60,000 in one of the most listened time slots in our market. I filled in for several months in this professional role while I was just an undergraduate student—the only to do so at the time. I also served as the executive producer of the award-winning podcast and morning radio show The Point. After a stint as host and producer, I retooled the podcast for greater synergy with its accompanying newsletter creating greater listenership for our web viewers while also driving up clicks on web. The show swept the entire category for Best Radio Newscast at the Florida News Awards under my leadership. I also anchored, produced, directed and reported for WUFT-TV’s First at Five. I provided special coverage of NASA’s Artemis I mission from the Kennedy Space Center where I was able to produce two spots for NPR’s national programming and produced a weeklong TV special from CES 2024 in Las Vegas.I served on Microsoft’s inaugural Council for Digital Good for 18 months as a teen, working with industry and governmental leaders to address digital issues such as cyberbullying and digital civility. Currently, I serve a similar role on Snap’s Safety Advisory Board overseeing their safety policies.I am deeply passionate about all aspects of communications—from the content, to the production, to the look and feel, and to the impacts on the audience—and I’m ready to bring that passion to your operation.
