I am a print, radio, and TV journalist based in Rome, Italy. I have covered on assignment news in the Mediterranean region, Eastern Europe, and, more occasionally, Latin America, Middle East, and Africa.My work has been focused on international politics, economics, migration, human rights, ethnic minorities, religious affairs, and conflicts.After graduating in 2009, I have covered the Arab Spring in Tunisia and conducted one of the first interviews with the leaders of Ennahda, the previously-banned party of Islamists. I have also covered, among other events, two Papal transitions, the war in Ukraine, the socioeconomic conflict in Greece, the rise of authoritarianism in Turkey, and migration stories in Europe and Mexico.
