I'm a tech correspondent at the Financial Times on the social media beat and regular moderator of panels/events. Based out of San Francisco, I primarily cover Meta, Twitter (X), and TikTok, and topics including AI, AR/VR, disinformation, cyber and election security. I have also presented short documentaries for FT Video, appeared live on slots with national broadcasters such as the BBC, and featured as a talking head on the Channel 4 'Billionaires' documentary on Mark Zuckerberg.Before moving to California, I covered financial services including online trading, stockbroking, market structure and crypto assets from the FT's London office, and won the the MHP 30 under 30 To Watch: Young Journalists of the year award in 2018. Prior to that I did a stint as a data journalist on the world news desk. Previous bylines with Reuters (in London and in Paris), Bloomberg, the Independent and the Evening Standard.
