I've written about bodegas defending their turf against venture capital-backed start-ups, junior banker culture; the regional bank that beat Wall Street giants to crypto; the unequal labor market recovery during the Covid pandemic; voting rights activists who took on some of America's largest corporations; Asian American small businesses surviving through discrimination; and other stories about money, power and identity. I'm also an artist whose practice focuses on figurative painting. I'm currently a Lower East Side Young Artist of Color Fellow with FABnyc. I graduated summa cum laude from Duke University.
