Claim your profileI've worked in the media industry since 1994 in newspapers, websites, radio and TV. I spent 14 covering Parliament from the press gallery in Wellington, including six years as political editor at TVNZ, during which I hosted three live election debates in 2011. I launched two new television current affairs shows with TV3 (3rd Degree and The Vote) in 2013 before moving to radio, where I hosted Morning Report for five years. I produced The Ninth Floor with Tim Watkin, a podcast and television series on former Prime Ministers, which was also made into a book, published by BWB. I'm currently an investigative reporter and presenter with RNZ. I've produced the award winning podcast The Service, with John Daniell about the role of the SIS in the Cold War. John and I followed that up with Red Line, about New Zealand's relationship with China, which is currently a finalist in two categories of the New York Radio Awards. I've also made Proof, a TV documentary about New Zealand's (and my own) relationship with alcohol, which was shot and edited by Cole Eastham-Farrelly and screened on RNZ and TVNZ in November of 2021. I also completed a certificate in governance with Institute of Directors in 2017.
