I am seasoned in communications, with experience as a reporter, editor, copy editor and blogger for print, news wire and digital platforms.Currently, I serve as content writer/editor at Next Glass, writing B2B content about all-things brewery technology, specifically the Next Glass subsidiaries such as Ollie and Untappd for Business, among others. Prior to joining Next Glass, I was a staff reporter for e.Republic's Center for Digital Education, covering all things ed tech at K-12 schools and school districts throughout the country. Earlier, I was the news reporter at India West Publications in San Leandro, Calif., writing and editing many business and political articles, as well as some features. I have also served as the online content manager and sales manager at Equipment East, LLC, updating all social media platforms and creating a quarterly newsletter for the heavy construction equipment dealer.I served as an editor and reporter for Bay City News Service, a Bay Area-centric news wire service, providing mainly breaking news. I also serve as the copy editor for the weekly Leisure Log calendar, content writer for the monthly Tours calendar, an a fill-in desk editor for the weekends.Previously, I served as the city editor for The Hayward News, a weekly newspaper as part of East Bay Publishing (which also prints separate weeklies - San Leandro Times and Castro Valley Forum). As city editor, I contributed all Hayward-based content for the newspaper.I also spent time with Tri-City Voice as the sports editor. TCV is a weekly, community newspaper serving the cities of Fremont, Newark, Sunol, Milpitas, Hayward and Union City in California. My duties at the Tri-City Voice included: reporting/writing, editing and assigning stories for the sports section. I have also worked on the copy desk of The Eagle-Tribune, where I copy edited articles for all the publications printed at the company. In addition to copy editing, I occasionally wrote articles for the features sections of various papers.
