Previously, I was food editor at LA Weekly and Los Angeles magazine, and a staff writer at the Los Angeles Times.I am also the co-author of three cookbooks, including the New York Times-bestselling Pepper Thai Cookbook with Pepper Teigen (mother of Chrissy) and Cook Real Hawai’i with Top Chef fan favorite Sheldon Simeon. As a freelancer, I've covered the best fish tacos for Food & Wine, written a bar crawl guide for GQ, and documented the history of tiki drinks and Chinese food for PUNCH. I've also developed culinary book proposals for various clients and helped food and drink brands improve their digital content strategies.
