I am an award-winning journalist and broadcaster with 10 years experience working for top broadcast companies, radio stations, online and print media houses. I am currently the managing editor of Cointelegraph, a global online publication specializing in cryptocurrency and blockchain news and multimedia content. For several years, I plied my trade as a sports journalist and presenter for Supersport's 24 hour news channel, as well as East Coast Radio and JacarandaFM, producing multimedia content across these industry-leading platforms. I started my career as a news journalist before specializing in sport. I worked as a rugby writer and weekend sports anchor, before moving onto a prime time radio show as a co-host and sports presenter. I went on to cover major sports events like the 2019 Rugby World Cup and my in-field coverage of the Springboks’ winning campaign was recognized with a South African Radio Award as well as a national award for innovation in journalism. I am comfortable behind a camera and microphone with nearly a decade of experience hosting radio shows, producing and presenting sports content, MCing events, editing video and audio and a range of other industry-specific skills. Writing is my strength and I have covered the cryptocurrency and blockchain space for the past 7 years, working for leading publication Cointelegraph as a senior journalist.
