Claim your profileAs a strong generalist editor, I am experienced in working with fast-paced production cycles while maintaining rigorous editorial standards. Commissioning across a broad range of culture, I always have an eye on the socio-political aspect of a story. I have worked extensively with photographers, writers and artists from around the world who create work connected to sociopolitical and environmental issues – bringing together language and visual culture to communicate ideas via an accessible and democratic voice. I predominantly write about photography, contemporary art, film and food. The latter evolved into a regular column for ArtReview and ArtReview Asia, which looks at the history, culture and politics surrounding food and identity. Between 2016–2018 I worked on the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design’s annual publication, writing short articles on their healthcare and social wellbeing projects. I believe it’s the role of a writer and editor to act as a bridge between expert knowledge and the wider public.
