Claim your profileHi! I'm Farah. I'm a digital news reporter skilled in covering social justice, immigration and politics — particularly how all of these affect marginalized communities. My main passion is diversity and representation in media and how they enhance journalism’s role as a public service. I graduated with my bachelor's and master’s degrees in journalism from Arizona State University’s Cronkite School, as a part of the 3+1 program. I am currently based in Seattle, Washington as a reporter on Cascade PBS's investigative desk. My work has appeared in The New York Times, NPR, National Geographic, Texas Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, The Arizona Republic and more.
