I've moved across the country in pursuit of good stories that bring truth to light. The newsrooms I've been lucky enough to be part of have risen above the turbulence of an ever-shifting industry to continue covering their communities for the sake of their readers. The Colorado Sun is one of them.But it's also entirely different. We're a journalist-owned news organization of award-winning reporters and editors who care deeply about Colorado and aim to tell the stories that may otherwise be left untold. My job within the scope of that mission is to talk to students, parents, teachers, administrators, lawmakers and others connected to schools across the state to better understand and share what's working, what isn't and what comes next. I'm passionate about reporting on education — it's driven my career and brought me here to Colorado.I'm also always on the lookout for my next story. Got one for me?
