I'm an award-winning journalist, team builder and newsroom leader known for developing content and audience strategies. I've worn a lot of different hats in news and media: programming and engagement lead, editorial product, sponsorship execution, people manager, writer, reporter and editor at various levels, to name a few. I even conceptualized and implemented the first paid content strategy at The Weather Channel. But right now I'm doing what I love the most and telling great science stories through the prism of weather and climate at the biggest news site on the internet: CNN.com. I help steer daily weather coverage there, edit the work of meteorologists and journalists, write and report myself, and try doggedly to make sure our work is digestible and puts the growing extremes of our planet into perspective.
