Claim your profileI am an Assignment Editor at KSL 5 TV, where I manage the daily news coverage and coordinate with reporters, producers, and photographers. I also pitch and develop original and engaging stories for the station's digital and social media platforms, using my video editing skills and time management ability. With the help of my team, I have contributed to the station's award-winning coverage of local and national events, such as the 2020 presidential election, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Utah wildfires. I am passionate about informing and serving the community through journalism and always eager to learn new skills and techniques to improve my craft. Prior to joining KSL 5 TV, I was a Multimedia Journalist/Reporter at WTVC-TV NewsChannel9, where I produced, shot, wrote, and edited compelling news stories for the Chattanooga market. I have covered various topics, including education, health, crime, politics, and sports, delivering quality content under tight deadlines. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Utah State University in 2020. There, I also studied Broadcast Journalism and gained valuable experience in reporting, writing, and editing for various media outlets. I am a motivated and collaborative professional with a strong interest in current affairs and media trends.
