Claim your profileSince the summer of 2013, I've been the Chief Meteorologist at WBZ-TV in Boston, MA. It's a challenging post with all that New England weather can throw at us! You'll find me trying to inform and entertain during all the evening newscasts on WBZ and TV38, plus streaming on CBS News Boston. I've also had the honor of frequently contributing to CBS News at the national network. I consider myself equally adept at reporting and have a background in climate and environmentally focused stories. In addition to the regular TV routine, you can find me via the usual barrage of social media posts chatting about the weather and life in New England. Beer, sports, and wildlife sightings are just as common as storm posts. I'm frequently involved with community events both large and small from large weather education days at Gillette stadium to book chats at our local libraries. My inbox is always open, so feel free to drop me a line.Previously, I was an On-Camera Meteorologist for The Weather Channel. In that time I traveled extensively across the country covering severe weather events such as the April 2011 tornado Superoutbreak, Hurricane Irene, Hurricane Sandy, blizzards, floods, and countless other weather stories. While owned by Comcast, I regularly filed live reports for NBC Nightly News, TODAY, and MSNBC.Before that, I was employed by WGGB-TV. There, I worked my way up from General Assignment Reporter and weekend Meteorologist - to a newscast Co-Anchor, morning weather anchor, reporter, and web editor. I also worked as a Freelance Meteorologist at WFXT-TV in Boston, MA. There I filled in on weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday).
