Claim your profileI’m a professional journalist with a focus on technology, travel, and alcohol—three subjects that keep life interesting and my inbox full. Over the years, my work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Condé Nast Traveler, Elle, Esquire, Mashable, Popular Mechanics, Fortune, Time, Fast Company, and plenty more. I love breaking down complicated topics and making them easy to understand and fun to read—whether it's how video games are becoming more social or what makes a great single malt. That passion is what led me to write Productivity Hacks: 500+ Easy Ways to Accomplish More at Work, published by Adams Media (Simon & Schuster) in 2018. When it comes to drinks, I don’t just write about whiskey—I’ve studied it. I hold a Certificate in Whisky from The Edinburgh Whisky Academy, WSET II in Wine, and I’m a Level 1 Cicerone (aka: beer nerd, officially). I’ve traveled to more than 30 countries and visited over 100 breweries and distilleries. I’ve even helped develop custom blends of whiskey, cognac, tequila, and rum alongside some of the industry’s top Master Blenders. On the tech side, I’ve covered everything from the early days of Twitter (I was in the beta!) to smart home devices, consumer gadgets, and major product launches. I was one of the first people to test Google Glass and sat front row in London for the debut of the first Windows Phone. I’ve interviewed hundreds of CEOs and public figures including Steve Wozniak, Biz Stone, Richard Branson, Nick Offerman, Will.i.am, and Laverne Cox. At the end of the day, I love telling stories that make people feel like they learned something new—without needing a dictionary or a degree to get through it. My background in TV news and years in fast-paced editorial environments help me bring clarity, curiosity, and a strong sense of voice to every piece I write.
