Claim your profileAs editor-in-chief of Canadian Architect magazine, I manage all facets of the editorial process for a magazine that goes out to 14,000 architects across the country. My work includes conceptualizing magazine themes, scouting projects, writing project reviews, working one-on-one with freelance contributors, and collaborating with our art director on each magazine's layout. I led a successful print magazine redesign in 2014, and have seen the magazine through two web redesigns. Driving this work is not only a love for well-written, expertly researched articles, but an excitement for connecting the passionate experts that make up the architecture profession. Over my decade of work with Canadian Architect, I've managed over 750 articles, spoken with hundreds of architects, moderated dozens of architecture panels, started an annual gala for the magazine's awards, and volunteered extensively in the industry. At its core, I thrive in distilling complexity into clear prose, actionable plans, and powerful ideas that bring people together towards a positive, shared purpose.
