For the last three years I worked at BuzzFeed UK as a Shopping and Products Writer and then a Content Editor. Creating engaging content that focuses on current trends and readers needs. I developed the ability to write reliable copy quickly and succinctly, and being able to pitch creative ideas on a daily basis. Experience in social media scheduling, writing listicle and long form articles. I also have some peer-editing experience too. Words in GradTouch as Freelance. Completed my degree at Salford University - International Journalism MA and have my international NCTJ qualification. I am confident in my multimedia skills, shown through my online blog which focused mostly on Environmental stories. Experienced in simulated newsroom environments, and confident in editorial, production and presenting roles, as well as script writing for Broadcast. Confident working with Adobe Premiere Pro and iNews. Experience in both TV and Radio, as well as written features. I love talking to people and hearing their stories, and making sure that my journalism is an inclusive space for everyone’s voices to be both seen and heard.
