Claim your profileI am a 2013 graduate from The University of Oklahoma, at The College of Atmospheric and Geographic Sciences and hold a Bachelor's Degree from The Department of Geography and Environmental Sustainability, a Minor Degree from The School of Meteorology and graduated in 2010 from Oklahoma City Community College with an Associate's Degree in Physics for Engineering. While at OU, I was a weather anchor for 6 semesters on the student ran, award winning, weekday daily live newscast OU Nightly which aired in the OKC, Tulsa and Lawton/Wichita Falls viewing areas. At the National Weather Center, I had been a Public Relations Tour guide for 2 years. For 3 years, I was a weather forecaster the for School of Meteorology's student ran Oklahoma Weather Lab. During my 4 years at The University of Oklahoma, I was an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the Shared Mobile Atmospheric Research and Teaching Radar (SMART-R) Program in which I was deployed in field work as a driver, navigator and science operator of many different mobile radars operations, such as The Verification Of Rotation of Tornadoes EXperiment 2 (VORTEX2) Project in 2010 and The Deep Convective Clouds and Chemistry (DC3) Project in 2012.I am very passionate about weather and the effects it has on people and their everyday life. My goal has been and always will be to convey the most accurate, concise information to the public that helps them to plan and prepare for their day. I enjoy very much talking to the public. When it comes to talking about weather, there is never a dull conversation.
