Claim your profileI worked at the Houston Chronicle for more than 30 years, mainly as a tech reporter/columnist/editor. I was also the Chronicle's first online news editor, the founder of its blogging network and its first social media manager. Along the way I also managed its subscriber website for a while. I retired in 2021, twice: Once from the Chronicle, and again after a seven-month stint as a paid-newsletter writer at Forbes. These days I'm kinda retired, back to writing my weekly personal tech column at the Chronicle and doing occasional freelance pieces there. I'm open to other freelance - hit me up if there's something I can do for you.
