I have always had a passion for writing, and I have always had a broad range of interests spreading from global issues to sports and to music. Seeing the opportunity to pair these interests with my writing skills, I was inspired to pursue a career in journalism.I seek to tell stories that will change the way my readers and viewers perceive the world, whether that addresses a nation-sweeping issue or a play in a hockey game. My goal is to give those readers and viewers the opportunity to look at significant events with an informed, and sometimes new, perspective.I also enjoy the creative elements of writing; short stories, poetry, screenplays and more, and my goal is to ultimately get a book published.
