Accustomed to working on deadline; excel at features (among recent long-term pieces was one on the upcoming Universal biopic planned on the life of World War II POW Louis Zamperini, which ran in January 2013 newspapers throughout the Los Angeles Newspaper Group (nine daily newspapers in L.A. and San Bernardino counties). As a longtime dog owner (currently 2 boarder collies and 1 cat) I have a special interest in pet-related stories; am the sole blogger for the Daily Breeze's pets blog, South Bay Pets, a job that has led to working with various rescue groups, shelters and pet industry reps for various posts.
