I am a dedicated, hard working journalist and anchor, always looking for the next breaking story. If I am not combing through reports, or data, I am helping my team update stories, find court dates or make key contacts. With more than 5 years of experience in the WCAX Newsroom, I believe I have become a leader, setting expectations high for myself and others around me. I am always willing to help my colleagues both editorially and technically. I started my career at WCAX as a News Photographer, giving me an important background and understanding in photography, editing and videography. As a multimedia journalist, I bring a wide range of skills to our newsroom, working proficiently in Eduis, Audacity and ENPS. As an anchor for more than 3 years on various shifts, I have learned how to identify important news and stories that have the greatest impact on our audience, and how to tell them fairly and accurately. When I am not on TV, our station leaders look to me to implement and execute new ideas. That includes spearheading an over-the-top (OTT) platform, 3 News Now, that streams live to our OTT app, the web, and social media. I am always willing to learn, and do more for the benefit of our newsroom. Whether it is filling in on shifts, working late days, or using my time to help a co-worker; I do anything I can to help my team succeed.
