As Lead Digital Editor at Local 4 News, I manage and write for the No. 1 news website in Southeast Michigan, ClickOnDetroit.com. I help the website specialize in breaking news, weather and the coverage of our local sports teams.I graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Communications and a minor in Spanish. Within this major, I studied journalism, how it works, how it has developed over time, and how to use it. I have put my knowledge to use by writing about sports for several organizations, including The Michigan Daily newspaper, Maizeandgoblue.com, Chat Sports and HuddlePass.As a junior I was elected the youngest league director for 3B baseball to run the knothole baseball league. This league is for high school players from the ages of 15 to 19. My responsibilities as director include recruiting coaches and players, constructing the schedule, establishing and enforcing the rules, ordering and distributing uniforms and equipment, and any other tasks that may come up. I also coach a team in the league which involves recruiting players and establishing relationships among them as a group.I am team-oriented and results driven. Whatever I do, I do with passion and a strong desire to succeed. Through sheer determination and hard work, I have been able to achieve goals that I would not have been able to reach otherwise. I enjoy working with people and building relationships within a team or group of people and helping them grow however I can. Organization is important to me, whether it is creating long-term schedules or making sure that members of a group are meeting on time.
