Claim your profileI am a seasoned journalist in Kenya with over 20-years plus of experience. I started off my career at Kenya Times Newspaper before moving to the Standard Newspaper where I served close to six years as a sports writer.During my time at Standard, I was privileged to cover Kenya national team Harambee Stars outside the country, the biggest of all being the Four Nations tournament in Cairo, Egypt and also covered the U17 team in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.I later returned to Kenya Times where I was appointed the Sports Editor. Here, I was privileged to cover the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China and the world athletics championship in Amman, Jordan.I moved from Kenya Times to Star Newspaper where I stayed for two months before joining GOAL.Com as the Chief Editor for the Kenya Edition.I was later promoted to be the Chief Editor for the East African region - this includes Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda.In between, I also worked for New Vision of Uganda and CafOnline website.I covered Gor Mahia during the Cecafa regional tournament in Kigali, Rwanda in 2019. Have also covered Harambee Stars and Harambee Starlets during Cecafa tournaments in Tanzania and Uganda respectively.In addition, I attended and cleared a sports course in China during the sidelines of the Olympic Games, and successfully finished a two-week course sponsored by AFP In Nairobi ahead of the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.I travelled to Germany under sponsored trip courtesy of StarTimes and managed to cover for GOAL.com Bayern Munich versus Frankfurt Bundesliga match at Allianz Arena.
