I focus on building high-impact local journalism, mentoring newsroom leaders, and driving collaborations that connect local and national narratives. With over two decades in media, my career has been grounded in newsroom leadership and storytelling that centers community and accountability. Before Axios, I was a Supervising Producer at CNN, where I led teams covering race and equality, managing enterprise reporting that shaped national dialogue. That experience sharpened my ability to lead complex news operations and support journalists in producing work with depth, urgency, and integrity.
