I'm currently working as Life, Shopping and TV Writer for Reach PLC, at Birmingham Live. I was What's On Editor for six months covering maternity leave- at Birmingham Live between October 2022 and May 2023.I was previously Deputy Chief Reporter for Midland News Association, at the Express & Star title, working at the paper between April 2018 and October 2021. I worked for their Shropshire Star title between January 2018 and March 2018. Before that, I worked as a Senior Reporter for Newsquest, at the Kidderminster Shuttle title, between October 2014 and December 2017. I completed my NQJ qualifications in July 2016 with two distinctions and two passes. In 2014 I completed an NCTJ accredited course in Newspaper Journalism at City of Wolverhampton College. I gained A-C grades in Court Reporting, Essential Media Law, Public Affairs, Reporting, Video Journalism and a portfolio of published work. I also achieved 60, 80 and 100wpm in Teeline Shorthand. I graduated in 2013 from Birmingham City University, with a 2:1 degree in Media and Communication, specialising in Journalism.
