My career includes stops at KTUL in Tulsa, OK and KTXS in Abilene, TX. I’ve focused on breaking news and digging into public records. One of my proudest moments was seeing my reporting on protective orders at KTUL changing a law—showcasing how journalism can drive real-world change and enhance accountability.Beyond my reporting work, I’m committed to advancing diversity in journalism, having served as a national board member for the Society of Professional Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. I’m also active with Investigative Reporters & Editors and the San Antonio Association of Hispanic Journalists. I’m eager to connect with others in the field and explore new opportunities to make an impact.
