Claim your profileCynthea Corfah is a connector, storyteller and multi-faceted creative. She is a New Orleans journalist, community leader, eczema warrior and advocate, inspirational speaker, and social media specialist. Raised as the only child of a single working mother, she is fueled by connecting women and uplifting people of color. In 2017, she founded Brunch for the Soul, a purposefully designed women's wellness event in Louisiana that grew into a nationwide community. Through her events, she curates intentional and inclusive experiences for women to feel empowered, deeply inspired and build genuine lasting relationships. From 2018 to 2021, Cynthea was the first Black staff writer at 225 Magazine where she wrote about fashion, food, music, art and business. As a freelance journalist, she documents today’s history makers in publications like Essence, New Orleans Magazine, Where Y’at Magazine, Adore Magazine, Louisiana Life, Business Report, InRegister Magazine and 225 Magazine.
