In my quest for a good story, I have hung out at a tycoon’s Irish castle, a Pittsburgh trailer park and in the passenger seat of a repo man's car all night long. I have written profiles of larger-than-life personalities (Vitaminwater co-founder Mike Repole), unsung heroes (Olympic race walker Trevor Barron) and creative types (Jeff Kinney of Wimpy Kid fame). My articles have appeared in national magazines ranging from PARADE to Smithsonian.com to Inc. I also am a business reporter and content provider who has written profiles for alumni magazines, and annual reports and corporate histories for nonprofits and large companies I can chat up just about anyone, and laugh easily (my friends say I am their best audience). I love to bike ride (preferably on the Great Allegheny Passage) or otherwise get my daily dose of endorphins. I live in Pittsburgh with my husband, daughter and two pampered cats, but am always looking for an excuse to travel, preferably to a country where I can practice my Spanish.
