I have extensive experience as an editor and writer in both online and print media, primarily covering technology and IT management issues. Currently, I'm an industry editor at Informa TechTarget, primarily responsible for creating in-depth packages of editorial content on analytics, data management, ESG/sustainability and other technology topics. I also work on other strategic editorial and research initiatives. Previously, at TechTarget Inc., I was a senior executive editor with overall responsibility for the editorial content on four websites. I played an instrumental role in launching one of the sites, Search Business Analytics in April 2010, and worked as the hands-on site editor for both it and Search Data Management. Prior to joining TechTarget, I was senior news editor at Computerworld, where I was responsible for managing reporters and editing news and news analysis stories. From 2007 to early 2009, I helped drive a threefold increase in online news page views while also serving as lead news editor for the then-weekly print magazine and as a member of the editorial department management team. I've won or shared in numerous ASBPE editing and writing awards while working both at what is now Informa TechTarget and at Computerworld, where I also won/shared in awards from TABPI, another prominent business press association. Specialties: Editing, writing, proofreading, managing reporters and writers, working with freelancers and outside contributors, developing stories and story packages, generating art and layout ideas, using content management tools and search engine optimization techniques, recording podcasts and videos.
