I've been in newspapers/media for my whole career; it was all I wanted to be involved with since childhood. I believe in honesty, integrity and accuracy in the profession. Historically, my main skills are in writing and print production. For the last 20 years, that's been in sports journalism, although for 14 years I have also written a beer column and even won an award for doing so. I am particularly keen on correct use of English and consider myself a meticulous proofreader, although I fear it's a dying art. I'd like to be proved wrong on that one.
