Claim your profileI began my career as a journalist in 1986 as a reporter for The Sun newspapers. I served as a reporter, editor and executive editor for the Marietta Daily Journal/Neighbor Newspaper chain for more than a decade. Currently, I am the executive editor of Rough Draft Atlanta, handling day-to-day operations of the editorial department, working directly with writers and maintaining all of Rough Draft's online presence, including our website and social media accounts. My freelance work has appeared in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia Magazine, Moviemaker, Huffington Post, AOL Travel, Gadling, and The Guardian.My literary mystery trilogy - Conquering Venus, Remain In Light and Leaving Paris - are available in trade paperback and eBook editions from Sibling Rivalry Press (SRP). Remain In Light was a finalist for the Townsend Prize for Fiction in 2012 and Georgia Author of the Year in Fiction. Render: Poems, also published by SRP, was named one of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Best Books of 2013 and honored by the American Library Association with inclusion on the 2014 Rainbow Book List.
