I always promised myself that I would fire up my spiritual skills in the home stretch of this life. It looks like I am transitioning sooner than I expected now that the nest is empty, my hair has turned silver and I am feeling ready for the next chapter.I trained as a professional astrologer in my twenties in Chicago at the Temple Of Kriya Yoga with Goswami Kriyananda and his assistant teachers. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I am an astrology buff and that I've always maintained it as a hobby. I am a spiritual person and I have had many spiritual adventures over the years.In recent years, I have been outside reconnecting with nature by growing and arranging flowers. I've also been educating myself on the latest spiritual tools such as Human Design and Sabian Symbols. I have had some frustrations with the limitations of astrology over the years. Even with as many readings as I've had, it's been rare to complete a reading feeling like the reader could truly see me.Of course, it's our job to know and appreciate ourselves but it's also incredibly empowering to feel like someone else can not only see us but can also validate us, just for being who we are. Once I started combining these three techniques and focusing on the essence of each individual, it felt like a breakthrough within my consciousness.
