I am an award-winning sports journalist with more than 20 years of experience as a newspaper writer, editor, and page designer. I am currently the assistant sports editor in charge of preps at the Lincoln Journal Star after spending six seasons as a beat writer covering Nebraska men's basketball and baseball. I have also worked as a sports writer for the Kearney (Neb.) Hub, Christian County (Mo.) Headliner and Springfield (Mo.) News-Leader.
