My career path may be atypical for a journalist, but it allowed me to develop as a credible communicator. My first jobs were behind the scenes as a photojournalist and producer. Later, I moved in front of the camera as a reporter and anchor. Working in these different roles allowed me to understand and appreciate what each member of the team contributes. Through my years of experience, I have developed strong leadership and communication skills as well as the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations. I would like to use these skills to make a great team even better.
