Claim your profileCherri Gregg is co-host of Studio 2, the flag ship daily radio news program for WHYY, Philadelphia's NPR station. She also serves as the Friday afternoon Host/Anchor for WHYY and the executive producer and host of the station's Emmy Award winning, Good Souls Project. Prior to her current position, Cherri covered civil rights, social justice, race and public affairs issues impacting marginalized communities, spending nearly a decade on air at KYW Newsradio. She served as the station’s Community Affairs reporter and was the creator, host and executive producer of the weekly, syndicated radio show and podcast, Flashpoint with Cherri Gregg. Cherri, is a rarity in media. She is also a licensed attorney and is a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Law & Justice Journalism Project, a non-profit focused on shifting the journalism narrative around public safety, crime and justice. She is founder of Create Genius Media, LLC, an ideas focused firm. Its mission is to expose injustice, educate and empower communities.
