Claim your profileI’m a public speaker and multiplatform journalist covering science, space, and more. As author and creator of “The-C-Note,” I give a glimpse into my reporter’s notebook and mini-reports on national and international news. I report on NPR shows like Morning Edition and All Things Considered, as well as national newscasts heard by 43 million listeners weekly. I’ve led news coverage at CNN, NBC News, and MSNBC on critical issues like politics and racial inequality. I’m also a Contributing Senior Correspondent for “The Emancipator,” an award-winning news magazine. The stories I report have resonated across platforms and often feature in national radio discussions. My commitment lies in empowering and informing communities through conscientious journalism and efficient, collaborative news reporting. I am a thought leader on endometriosis awareness -- leading support groups, facilitating workshops & connecting those impacted with resources. I have also done professional voiceovers for radio, television and online media. I am also writing my first nonfiction book, which I hope to complete by the end of 2025 and I'm co-founder of Virginia HOPE, an endometriosis support group.
