Claim your profileCatherine Morrison is a reporter for The Canadian Press.She was previously a reporter for the Ottawa Citizen covering the federal public service and, before that, was a reporter for the Kings County Record in Sussex, New Brunswick, and The Daily Gleaner in Fredericton.Catherine is a 2021 graduate from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism in New York City. In 2020, she graduated from McGill University with a bachelor’s degree in Gender, Sexuality, Feminism and Social Justice Studies, minoring in Political Science and Communications. During her time in university, she was a contributor and editor for The McGill Tribune. She also co-founded The Why Intersection, the university’s first online satire magazine.When Catherine isn’t working, she often spends time outdoors with her Bernese Mountain Dog.
