Claim your profileAs Editor of The Drum, I lead the editorial strategy and content production for one of the world’s largest and most influential advertising and marketing titles. I manage a team of journalists in the UK, US and APAC who produce thoughtful and thought-provoking coverage that makes sense of the modern marketing business. We focus on original reporting, analysis and opinion across articles, videos and podcasts. I’ve been a journalist for more than 16 years, writing, commentating and commissioning on the many changes and challenges the marketing industry has experienced during that time. I started my career as a news reporter, gravitated to writing longer-form features and then gained experience working with contributors as The Drum’s first Opinion Editor. I was named Feature Writer of the Year at the PPA’s 2017 Scottish Magazine Awards. Along with shaping our daily coverage and special projects, my role today includes supporting business strategy and representing The Drum in the industry. I regularly host live events, panels and interviews, and contribute to publications, podcasts and TV shows on media and marketing matters.
