Claim your profileI am the editor of the Alexandria Times, the only locally-owned independent newspaper in Alexandria, Va. I oversee weekly print and digital production, coordinating with several contributors each week to meet deadline. I oversee interns on a semester basis, helping them grow into professional journalists. I’ve expanded my network of contacts in Alexandria across several sectors including psychology, government, business, animal care, real estate, restaurants and senior care. I graduated from Baylor in August 2023 summa cum laude with a major in political science and minors in journalism and international studies. As an award-winning college journalist, I have honed my writing, editing, and reporting skills through various internships and campus publications. I am passionate about covering education, local government and domestic U.S. politics, and I have published over 100 articles on these topics. I am flexible, adaptable and eager to learn from professional mentors and peers.
