I tackle live shots every morning then work to find a lead story for our noon or find a special project to work on on the side. Before making the move to the West Coast, I reported on the Fox 61 seven hour morning show in Hartford CT. Here I was able to dive into my love for special projects on various topics and often fill in on the anchor desk. Before reporting in New England, I was a reporter/MMJ at the CBS stations in Tulsa OK and Charleston SC. Prior to those opportunities, I worked as a photojournalist at the NBC station in Huntington WV while I was working on my degree from Marshall University. I have a passion for agriculture, severe weather aftermath, hard enterprise news, and a love for giving people a platform when their story desperately needs to be heard. I am three-time Emmy nominated for my work in major breaking news situations and potentially life-altering weather events. I have been in the news business for nine years and I’ve loved every minute of it!
