Claim your profileMy degree might be in Fashion Journalism from London College of Fashion but I've had experience in a range of different industries in my career as a journalist, and I've learned very different skills from all of them. From the fashion sector when I was at University with work experience stints at both GQ and The Daily Telegraph, to interiors and more specifically Kitchens and Bathrooms where I did three years of B2B journalism that I absolutely adored. For the last decade, I've been a technology journalist, starting as a Contributing Editor for Pocket-lint before working my way up to Features Editor and then Deputy Editor. I loved my time at Pocket-lint when it was owned by the founder, Stuart Miles, and I learned a great deal in my decade writing there, and in the more recent years writing, editing and managing an excellent team. I've written about everything from wall-hung toilets to smartphone chipsets, and I've enjoyed (almost) every second. Writing will always be my first love but people are my second. Building relationships with people and brands is one of my biggest strengths and a skill I try to apply not just to people I meet through work and events, but the people I work with day-to-day too. I'm a firm believer in leading by example so I wouldn't ask someone to do something I wouldn't do myself, and I hold myself to very high standards that I strive to meet everyday.
