Throughout my professional experiences, I have developed a reputation as someone who demands accuracy, can handle multiple tasks, is goal- and detail-oriented, works well under deadline situations, strives to find new and interesting story ideas and seeks creative ways to relay those stories to the public – whether it’s through video form or the written word.In recent years, I have developed an increased interest in expanding my skill set to meet the demands of today’s digitally-focused world. Among the online duties I’ve been assigned include the immediate posting of event coverage, live video productions, video storytelling and editing, monitoring real-time chats and the engagement of readers and viewers through social media channels. I’m also involved with site content management, which includes using search engine optimization keywords to drive readers to content.My involvement with Post-Crescent Media’s online sports productions include Clubhouse Live, a popular, live and innovative weekly show that I plan, script and co-host and features Packers players as guests. I also provide play-by-play coverage and production support as part of our live prep sports coverage and serve as the producer of a weekly show that highlights high school sports.Video production and editing is a key component of our overall content planning and editing. Training in Avid and Final Cut Pro has been provided for content creators and producers. I’ve also used an iPhone and iMovie in instances in which I’ve needed to quickly create, edit and upload video stories and reports.
