Over the past decade, I've channeled my editorial background and more nerdy tendencies into a full-time career at Digital Trends, where I work closely with the Editorial and SEO teams to manage our evergreen coverage. I've also freelanced for several local publications in my adopted home of Portland, Ore., allowing me to cover our local music scene, budding comedians, and the great outdoors. Needless to say, there are few things Portlanders cherish more than garage rock and a hazy, post-hike double IPA on a hot summer day. Before joining DT, I was an intern at Willamette Week—an award-winning alt-weekly based in Portland—and worked in a consultant capacity for the College of Professional Studies upon graduating from Humboldt State University, where I produced profiles on graduate students, undergrads, alumni, and faculty for various departments.
