A former religion editor for The Oklahoman and religion writer for The Associated Press, Ross is a 1990 journalism graduate of Oklahoma Christian University. His stories have earned numerous awards from secular and religious press associations, including the Religion News Association's 2024 Supple Award for Feature Writing.
