As editor-in-chief of The Christian Chronicle, he oversees all news and editorial functions while serving as the Chronicle’s lead national writer. Each Friday, his Weekend Plug-in column for Religion Unplugged meets readers at the intersection of faith and news. A former religion editor for The Oklahoman and religion writer for The Associated Press, Ross is a 1990 journalism graduate of Oklahoma Christian University. His stories have earned numerous awards from secular and religious press associations, including the Religion News Association's 2024 Supple Award for Feature Writing.
