Currently working remotely as a full-time operational meteorologist at AccuWeather. I graduated in May 2009 from Millersville University with a B.S. in Meteorology. I tailored my classwork and outside activities toward an operational forecasting path, with elective courses take in radar and satellite meteorology, atmospheric chemistry (air quality), and advanced weather analysis and forecasting. I have experience in short term forecasting and streaming weather videos through our Campus Weather Service, the PENNDOT District 8 Snow Warning Service which provides specialized forecast briefings to local transportation officials during winter storms, and the national collegiate forecasting competition (WxChallenge). I was ranked 59th nationally (top 5%) and 2nd at Millersville in 2007‐08 for the competition, and 61st nationally (top 5%) and 3rd at Millersville in 2008‐09.
