The ideation of a story is a rush, and I take immense pride in shepherding that idea through the process of content creation, managing writers and liaising with art and video teams, to bring that story to life in a way that will most effectively resonate with audiences.I've spent more than a decade doing this, on a news desk and with a focus on features, for publications in the U.S. and the U.K., with an emphasis on sports and the automotive industry. I oversee content budgets, I manage writers, I write, I edit with a firm belief in AP Style, I abide by the principles of SEO, I study analytics and am guided by traffic figures, I strive for reach by focusing on marginal gains in programming and distribution.
