Claim your profileAnnie Krall is a news, entertainment, and sports broadcaster who has golfed competitively since she was six years old. Currently using her on-air talents in St. Louis, MO as an NBC news and sports reporter/anchor with the team at KSDK, 5 On Your Side. A former radio news anchor and reporter for the Windy City's WLS-Radio (890-AM), Annie was host of the podcast "Golfing in Chicago." Prior to that she was an on-air reporter (MMJ) for ABC in Green Bay, WI. Annie decided to pursue journalism full-time after getting accepted to medical school her senior year at Northwestern University. A Chicago native with a single digit handicap, Annie was the first entertainment golf correspondent for the LPGA, covering celebrity women who are helping advance a still strongly male-dominated sport. Annie made the life-changing choice to trade a stethoscope for a microphone to receive a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Medill teaching courses in jouranlism ethics and video journalism to undergraduate and graduate students.Her broadcast and medical background proved to be invaluable as she tackled the fast-paced New York City news world at ABC News writing and researching stories for content on Good Morning America, World News Tonight with David Muir, 20/20 and Nightline just as COVID-19 was transforming our lives in March 2020.
